FUBAR Labs 2.0 – Support us via IndieGOGO

Makerspaces are not about the space, but about the passion and drive of the makers.

FUBAR Labs is New Jersey’s first makerspace,  established in 2009 and formed as a non-profit community based organization with the purpose of bringing makers, hackers, and tinkerers together to collaborate and share ideas and knowledge.

We are excited to tell you that FUBAR Labs is moving into a 2300 square foot high tech industrial space in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  We are asking you to help FUBAR grow and support us through our IndieGOGO campaign.

In our new location we will have larger instructional space for STEM/STEAM programs and Meetups so we do not have to turn people away. We will have room for more diverse workshops, areas and equipment so that makers can solve larger problems and we will be able to have more community outreach. We will even have Pro-Maker areas where you could have a dedicated 10×10 space for your projects and equipment.

Through our IndieGOGO campaign we are asking you to support us so that we can make this next phase of FUBAR Labs possible.  We can not grow with out your help.

On May 1st we move into our new space, but we are far from done and we need your help to outfit the space, to buy key machinery, attract new members, and ensure that FUBAR Labs continues to be financially stable during this growth period. We need your support so that FUBAR Labs can continue to make a positive impact on the maker movement.

If you are in New Jersey, we suggest a supporting us through a membership.
We have several trial and discounted membership options available during our campaign – but hurry, these memberships are limited.

Act now. Go to our IndieGoGo campaign and choose your membership level.

If you are outside the New Jersey area please support us by choosing one of our Made at FUBAR Perks which are also available through the IndieGOGO campaign.

Most of all, please spread the word about FUBAR and this campaign on your personal Facebook, Twitter, and forward it to all your friends. The more people that see our campaign, the more chances we will have of being successful and growing our maker community.
