Public Nights Temporarily Suspended Due to Global Pandemic
With vaccination rates headed up and infection rates headed down we are hoping to resume public nights soon. Meanwhile we have virtual events scheduled at the times below in place of the open hours, please check meetup for the links and schedule.
When to Visit
We have a variety of events on our schedule. Our Meetup.com group is regularly updated and is the best way to keep in the know about events.
Open to The Public Twice A Week, Every Week (well, almost) You are welcome to stop by FUBAR anytime, but we can not guarantee someone will be there to say hello or give you a tour. However, Open Hack Night and Open Hack Sunday are two days every week, that we can (almost) guarantee someone will be at the space. We will still do tours by arrangement following COVID precautions. Please contact us via the info email or Facebook group.
Open Hack Night – Every Thursday @ 7:30 PM
Open Hack Night is the best time to come to FUBAR to visit, hang out, work on a project or talk to other Hackers/Makers. Every Thursday from 7:30PM-10PM you will find numerous members working away on cool and awesome projects. If you are interested in joining FUBAR, we suggest you come to a few Open Hack Nights first. Bring a project or just come and shoot the breeze.
Open Hack Sunday – Every Sunday from 1:30PM until 3:30PM
Come in for a tour with the whole family or perhaps you’d like to learn how to solder. We also have special Sundays when we host themed workshops and study groups like our Python Studygroup. Check our Meetup page for more details on our upcoming Sundays,
Monthly General Member’s Meeting
We are not all fun at FUBAR. OK, we are all fun, but once a month, on the first Tuesday at 8:00PM we have an open meeting to discuss a wide array of general topics. I you are interested in becoming a member, this is a good meeting to attend. All members and new prospective members are welcome to attend this meeting.
Monthly Officers Meeting
The Officers meeting is open to all members, but mostly the officers will be giving reports on their area of responsibility. This is the meeting where we take care of business, financial reports, planning for group activities, new equipment and facilities. On the third Tuesday at 7:30PM we take care of official member business.
Other Events At FUBAR
