Mission Statement

FUBAR Labs is a community-run makerspace enabling members to collaborate on unique hands-on projects for learning and innovation. Our members co-founded the Garden State Robotics League and have hosted many of their combat robotics events. Our members also conceive and lead initiatives developing open source autonomous vehicle conversions through the FooCars project. We also have projects building power go-karts to compete in amateur racing events. In addition, we helped organize the Sussex County Maker Fair. We provide workspace, tools, and materials for these team initiatives and offer classes, workshops, and study groups to share skills and knowledge on topics like electronics, 3D printing, robotics, and programming. As a non-profit, member-supported organization, FUBAR Labs promotes technical, scientific, and artistic skills through collaborative problem-solving, DIY engineering, and scientific discovery. We aim to foster an inclusive, engaging community of makers, hackers, crafters, and tinkerers.
